Set up the room
Choose a quiet room without music, fans or strong echoes. Keep the microphone 15–25 cm from your mouth and avoid touching the device during the test.
Use natural continuous speech
Read a normal paragraph for ten seconds. Do not sustain one vowel or deliberately lower your voice. Conversational speech is the correct input for a speaking-frequency result.
- Warm up by speaking for a few minutes
- Use the same passage for comparisons
- Keep volume and posture comfortable
- Repeat three times and compare medians
Judge result quality
A narrow distribution and higher stability score suggest a cleaner sample. Large jumps may indicate background sound, vocal fry, silence or pitch-tracking errors.
