Microphone audio

The browser asks for microphone access when you start a test. The analyzer processes samples on your device with the Web Audio API; it does not upload or save an audio recording. Microphone tracks stop when the test ends or the component closes. You can also revoke access in browser settings.

Local history and sharing

Save stores a result summary, label and date in this browser’s localStorage, with up to 12 entries per test. Clear history removes that test’s saved entries; clearing site data removes local data too. The language is selected by the URL. Dismissing a language suggestion is remembered in sessionStorage for the tab.

Sharing creates a URL containing a readable result summary. Anyone with that link can see it, and the URL may enter browser history or service logs. Downloading a result image saves it to your device. Neither action uploads a microphone recording.

Hosting, analytics and fonts

The site loads an analytics script from wang.632932.xyz and fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). These requests expose network information such as IP address and browser details to the relevant services; analytics can also receive page and referrer information. The analyzer does not send microphone samples or saved history to these services. Hosting may also create request logs; this page does not guarantee anonymization or a specific retention period.

Google advertising

If Google ads are displayed, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to serve, measure and personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Microphone recordings are not provided to advertisers.

You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and manage cookies in your browser. These controls do not replace a consent choice where one is required. Read Google’s explanation of its advertising technologies below.
