Continuous pitch presentation explorer

Voice Presentation Analyzer

Explore where your speaking pitch sits on a continuous lower-to-higher range. The tool does not guess identity, biology or assign a binary gender.

Your pitch position and overlap context will appear here.

100% client-side. Audio is never uploaded. Results are stored only when you choose Save.

01

Choose your target voice

Use your habitual voice or a presentation you are currently practicing.

02

Speak a full sample

Ten seconds provides more context than one held note.

03

Read the overlap note

Pitch is one cue among resonance, formants, articulation and style.

Why this analyzer avoids binary gender detection

Voice pitch distributions overlap. A single threshold would misrepresent many cisgender, transgender and non-binary speakers, and gender identity is not an acoustic property that software can determine.

This page reports pitch, stability and experimental F1/F2 spectral-envelope estimates. Formant values are sensitive to room acoustics and microphone response, so they support self-directed exploration rather than clinical assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Can a voice test determine gender?+

No. Gender identity cannot be determined from audio. This tool only places speaking pitch on a continuous lower-to-higher presentation scale.

Why not label voices male or female?+

Pitch ranges overlap substantially, and resonance, style, language and identity cannot be reduced to one binary result.

What data is used?+

It uses fundamental frequency, distribution, stability and experimental F1/F2 spectral-envelope estimates. It does not claim to measure anatomy or identity.

Is audio uploaded?+

No. Microphone samples are processed locally and discarded after the result.
